The goal of this tournament is simple: to get the whole village enjoying pétanque on the St Mary’s piste. We hope to build a lively core group to kickstart the Steeple Ashton Pétanque Club. Whether that leads to local league matches, friendly inter-club challenges, or future global tours, who knows!
SAVE is about getting things done together. Whether it’s tackling practical maintenance jobs around the village, backing projects requested by the Parish Council, or pitching in to help local residents, we act as a central hub for community action.
Inspired by initiatives like the UK “Men’s Sheds,” we aim to create a friendly, inclusive space where people can connect, share skills, work alongside neighbours, and take pride in our shared surroundings.
